HHO Gas Car Modification - An Objective Review

New hight-tech

There is a lot of hype out on the market revolving around the alternative fuels. I understand this as gas prices are skyrocketing and genuine concern grips the population. It is getting to the point for many people, that they must make a difficult choice: Buy gas and be able to drive or pay the other bills. As a result, people are looking for answers. Along comes some good ideas as to how we can use alternative fuel sources. Then there come some not so good ideas ... Rather than dwell on what does not work, I want to write about what is a surprisingly shocking alternative: HHO gas modification. Like everything else, it has its negatives (very few) and it's positives.

HHO Gas Car Modification Negatives

This technology has been around for a long time but rarely has it been used in the 200+ years of its existence. As a result, there are some unwarranted fears concerning its effects on the engine itself. Some believe that it can corrode the engine but in fact nothing could be further from the truth. It really preserves the life of the engine.

A lack of national recognition. This is also changing. Many local and national media outlets are now focusing in on this (in fact, I have provided a link at the bottom of the page to a fox news outlet covering the story about HHO gas car modification). Also, this technology is being embraced now by the Federal government as they have allowed it to be used in the military Hummers!
HHO Gas Car Modification Positives

Save 50% on gas costs. I have to start there as saving close to $1,500 every year with this technology is a significant benefit.

Easy to install. The parts needed to convert your car or truck for HHO gas car modification are available at your local hardware store.

Very cheap to install. The total cost for the manual on how to do it along with the parts should not run more than $200.

It is environmentally friendly. The HHO gas car modification is a much cleaner way of burning fuel and as a result, the environment wins out too.

New hight-tech HP TouchPad

New hight-tech

What if you could carry an entire library’s worth of information in one compact device – without the environmental impact of tens of thousands of printed pages? Enter the HP TouchPad – a super slim tablet that gives you access to the wealth of information available online as well as a multitude of apps for work and play. This portable powerhouse offers an entire world of movies, Kindle books, games, and music while keeping paper waste to a minimum and consuming less energy than a laptop or TV.
Whether you want to goof off or get to work, the HP TouchPad proves that you don’t always need to lug a laptop around. The HP TouchPad’s brilliant large screen gives you the ability to multitask like a champ, wirelessly print documents, and navigate files in the cloud. If you want to get down to business, check out this review of TouchPad’s uses for work.
Then, when you need some downtime, crack open the app store’s Pivot magazine, a unique experience that shows you apps to try and provides interesting stories about how to use them. From there, you’ll find a ton of stuff to download: games, Kindle books, movies or TV shows, and music powered by Beats Audio. And you can browse the same web you know and love with support for Adobe Flash.
With hundreds of TouchPad-specific apps already available and more on the way, the HP webOS App Catalog has you covered. If we’re talking social apps, I’ll humbly admit that I think the TouchPad’s version of Facebook is fantastic. Need a game break? Angry Birds is available – and for those of you addicted to Farmville, it’ll run in a web browser. After all, with Adobe Flash there’s a long list of Flash games you can play on the TouchPad.
The all-new HP Moviestore powered by RoxioNow offers recently released big-screen movies and current TV episodes, and the 7digital MP3 Music app lets you discover, purchase and download high-quality, DRM-free MP3 music from a catalog of over 14 million songs.
Speaking of MP3′s, the music sounds great. Over at HP’s The Next Bench, I break down Beats Audio. It’s available on the TouchPad, HP laptop and desktop computers, and it makes a big difference in improving the overall audio quality coming out. My review also includes links to a video that explains HP’s Beats Audio and another video that tells the story of Dr Dre and Beats.
If you want to dig deeper into what I’ve done with my TouchPad – and all the latest offerings coming out of HP, you can find much more over at TheNextBench.com.

New Synchrophasors Are the Key to a Smarter, More Stable Energy Grid

New hight-tech

The grid is about to get a whole lot smarter with the introduction of synchrophasors — high tech devices that measure and transmit incoming energy data at blinding speeds. When deployed en masse, the nifty devices will help to significantly increase the amount of reliable energy transmitted across the grid. Not only will synchrophasors allow grid operators to better monitor and understand electricity generation and usage, they will help bring more wind and solar power online.
A synchrophasor is a small metal box about the size of a mailbox that resides in an electricity substation (the junction point for transmission lines). The device measures data like power flow, voltage and frequency and reports that information back to a grid control center. While other monitors can accomplish this same feat, the synchrophasor is way speedier: Traditional monitors send a data report about every two-to-four seconds; synchrophasors send information about 30 times every second! That may seem like info overload for grid operators, but that kind of reporting is necessary to prevent problems like blackouts and allow more renewables to come online.
The Department of Energy is currently using Recovery Act money to fund synchrophasor projects throughout the nation. Right now, several dozen have been installed, but the hope is to eventually install thousands of synchrophasors throughout the US and Canada.
